❓ FAQ
Reglaze vs Retile Questions
Does reglazing look as good as new tile?+
Reglazing creates a smooth, glossy finish that covers the existing tile. It looks clean and fresh. However, if you want a completely different tile pattern or texture (subway, mosaic, etc.), retiling is the only option.
Can you reglaze over cracked tiles?+
We can reglaze over minor cracks that are just cosmetic. However, if tiles are loose, have deep cracks, or there's water damage behind them, reglazing won't fix the underlying problem. We'll assess and give you an honest recommendation.
How long does reglazed shower tile last?+
Reglazed tile lasts 10-15+ years with proper care. We provide a 5-year warranty. Use non-abrasive cleaners and avoid harsh chemicals to maximize lifespan.
